Chancy, et al. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, endorsement of Christmas Seals for the benefit of <br />the Orange County Tuberculosis Association was ordered <br />executed by the City Council and returned to the Associ- <br />ation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the application of C. Ashley Enowlton for permissi¢ <br />to conduct a new and used clothing store at 107 North <br />Broadway, was referred to the Mayor for investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelly, seconded by'Sutton and car- <br /> <br />tied, the resignation of <br />Officer, was accepted as <br /> <br />Cornish J. Roehm as Police <br />of December 22n~, 1930. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode~, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the recommendation of the Library Board was accep- <br />ted and Mrs. Robert Northcross was appointed to succeed <br />herself and Mr. Fred Forgy wag appointed to succeed Mr. <br />Fred Rafferty. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Sutton, seconded by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the bond of Ted Gibbs in amount of $500.00 for <br />Cement Sidewalk and Curbing was referred to the Chair <br />for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seco~ed by Kelly and car- <br />ried, the communication from the Metropolitan Water Dis- <br />trict was accepted and Ordinance No. 18 was ordered <br />posted by the Clerk. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Sutton and car- <br />ried, the application of C. A. Greenleaf for a permit to <br />conduct a Used Car Market at 1318 N~ Main Street, was <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Truwtee McBride, seconded by Goode and car- <br />ried, the Clerk and Mayor were instructed to sign agree- <br />ment with Homer C. Chancy and Reva M. C~haney, his wife, <br />and L.B. Armstrong and Lillian Armstrong, his wife, rela- <br />tive to the construction of a building on the Easterly <br />side of South Main Street, described as Lot Four, Block <br />"C" of Blees Second Addtion to the City of Santa Aha, <br />on which building is to be constructed a terrace extend- <br />ing over the five foot set-back line established on <br /> <br />Main Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
