Cox, Manager of the <br />Finle. y Hotel, complaining about the noise and commotion <br />that is made on French Street just south of Fourth <br />was referred to the Chief of Police and Police <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the communication from Wayne Goble, Secretary of <br />the Orange County Civic League, relative to donations <br />expenditures made by the City Council, was consigned to <br />the waste basket. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the report of the Orange County Health Depart- <br />ment for the month of June, was referred to the Finance <br />Committee. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the report of the Santa Ana Public Library for the <br />fiscal year ending June 30th, 1931, was referred to the <br />Finance Committee · <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride,. seconded by Warner, and car <br />tied, the bond of J. I. Halsel amount of $500.00 <br /> <br />Cement Sidewalk and Curbing, was referred to the Chair <br />for approval or disapproYal. <br /> <br />A protest signed by Wm. and Emma Block against the assess <br />ment on their property on Richland Street, was read. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride and <br /> carried, the hearing on the impr~ement of Richland <br /> Street was continued for~ one week, July 2?th, 1931. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Witmer, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the protest of Thomas I. Dunham against a $3.60 <br />weed assessment on Lot 9 of the Pine Street Tract, was <br />referred to Trustee Hasenjaeger. <br /> <br /> <br />
