On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and car- ried, the property at the corner of Stafford and Garfield Streets was ordered posted for special uses and the hear- ing date set July 27th, 1931, in compliance with the application of St. Josephts Catholic Church to erect a Convent. Protests were heard of property owners against the erec- tion of a church building ~at 1715 W. Fifth Street by the Roman Catholic Church.
