Bowers <br />Museum Board that Horace Austin and Frank <br /> <br />Lansdown .be appointed architects for drawing the plans <br />and specifications for the museum, was approved and the <br />Attorney was instructed to draw contract covering employ- <br />ment of architects subject to approval of Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, t~he request of The Ministerial Association for <br />perr~ission to use Birch Park to hold Union Church Servi- <br />ces Sunday evenings beginning August 2nd and continuing <br />through September 6th, 1931, was granted. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Witmer and <br />carried, the application of the Atchison, Topeka and <br />Santa Fe Railway Company for permission to install wig- <br />wags at the crossing on East Fourth Street and remove <br />gates, was denied and the Clerk was instructed to advise <br />the Railroad Con~nission of the Council,s action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, secc~ded by Warner and <br />carried, the applications of the Santa Aha Electric <br />Company for permission to install electric signs for the <br />Santa Ana Gymnasium 'at 609 W. 4th Street and Dutton Pie <br />Company at 210 N. Broadway wer. e granted under supervision <br />of the Electrical Inspector.. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and car- <br />r~d, the petition of residents for street light in the <br />Vicinity of Camile and Maple Streets, was heferred to <br />the Street Commissioner to investigate. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the communication and Ordinance No. 21 of the <br />Metropolitan Water District was accepted and the Clerk <br />instructed to post Ordinance in a conspicuous place. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, D. W. Cox was appointed assistant poundmaster <br />at $4.00 per day during the rabies epidemic. <br /> <br /> <br />
