Pine & Chestnut Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance~ <br /> <br />Fixing' Tax Rate 1931-~2. <br /> <br />This being the time and place vhen ard where interested <br />persons might appear and show cause why bonds should not <br />be issued against t~e land in tlne Assessment District <br />in Acquisition and Improvement District No. V, also <br />k~ow~, as West Seventeenth Streeb, for the purpose of <br />obtaining the emount required to pay the interlocutory <br />Judgments in the action brought to condemn the property <br />sought to be taken for the 'acquisition and improvement of <br />West Seventeenth Street, in accordance with Resolution of <br />Intention No. 2184, and the City Council being now in <br />session, proceeded to hear all protests presented. <br /> <br />No person appearing to protest or show any cause why <br />bonds should not be issued, a resolution was introduced <br />ordering issuance of acquisition bonds for said district. <br />The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, desig- <br />nated Resolution No. 2317 and passed by the following rot( <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, Paul B. <br /> Witmer, A.C. Hasenjaeger, John Knox. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />An Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 to <br />change the Zone in that area bounded on the north by <br />Walnut Street, on the west by Cedar Street, on the east <br />by the Santa Fe Railway and on the south by the east and <br />west center line between Pine and Chestnut Streets from <br />Single Family Residence Zone to Light Industrial Zone" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and referred back to <br /> <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br />An Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, california, <br />fixing the amount of Money ascertained to carry on the <br />various departments of t~he City of Santa Aha, and to pay <br />the bonded indebtedness falling due for the current year <br />1931-32, and fixing the rate of taxation for the current <br />year 1931-32, designating the number of cents on each <br />$100.00 for the various funds of said City on the ~hole <br />of the taxable property of said City as set by the County <br />Assessor of the County of Orange, State of California, <br />equalized by the Board of Supervisors of said .County, and <br />~ereby levied on the whole of the taxable property of sai~ <br />City." <br /> <br />_was introduced~ read, considered and referred back to the <br /> <br />City A~torney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seceded by Wanner and <br />tied, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />car- <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br /> <br />
