No. 2400 Requesting Funds from Gas Tax Receipts. On motion of T~ustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, the application of Doss ]~ Lewis for permission to install and conduct a service station at the southwest corner of Sixth and Bush Streets, was refermed to the Planning Commis- sion, no protests having been filed. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the application of Doss & Lewis was granted to erect and conduct a service station at the southwest corner of Sixth and Bush Streets. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, the applications of Mrs. Mary Foster and W. J. Smith for permission to conduct poultry slaughtering businesses were denied as recommended by Dr. J.H. Bower and E. E. Frisby of the Health Department. On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penm and carried, the application of Nuff & Whitted to have %he property at 702 Bush Street rezoned for business zone, was denied on recommendation of the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, the application of the Church of the Messiah to change zone at 610 Bush Street from First Class Apartments to Neighborhood Business Zone, was denied on recoeeaemdatiom of the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by B~uns and carried, the report of the City Auditor sulmaitting c~nparative daSa on personnel and ealamies Of city officers, was received and filed for futume reference. A Resolut.ion entitled: "A Resolution of the City council of the City of Santa Ana, California, requesting an appropriation of the County of Orange from Gas Tax Receipts for Highway Improvement within said Oity." was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2400 and passed by the following vote: .
