Wagner. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Stuns and carried, <br />the application of F~iend and Martin for permission to hang <br />an electric sign for Carl R. Edgar at 302 N. Main Street, <br />was granted under supervision of the Electric Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the communication signed by thirty-eight citizens and tax- <br />payers extending their sincere thanks fo~ passing the new <br /> <br />Ordinance <br />many evils <br /> <br />"Dine and Dance" believing that it will eliminate <br />that have existed, was received amd filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the request of Rev. D. F. Myers and other pastors of chumche <br /> <br />in Orange County, was granted permission to hold an inter- <br />denominational union revival ~e erin6 in a tent to be located <br />at the southeast corner Sycamore and Wilshire Streets. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the application of Mrs. Myrtle Donner for permission to con- <br />duct a maternity home at 2A15 N. Main Street, was referred <br />to the Planning Con~nission for investigation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />proceed to open b~ds cove~ing fire and theft, public liabili <br />ty,'p~operty.damage amd full coverage collision and plate <br />glass o~ o~*.lls fleet of automobiles, as follows: <br /> <br /> E. D. Holmes, Jr. $1640.7~ <br /> E. M. S,,-~quist 1635.82 <br /> McKay Insurance Agency 1879.58 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the bid of E. M. Sundquist in the amount of $1638.82 was <br />accepted as the lowest responsible bid, submitted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Stuns and carried, <br />Gilbert F. Wagner was appointed a special police officer <br />without pay, on recommendation of the Chief of Police. <br /> <br /> <br />
