In He Bonfire R Rally Highschool Student Body. In Re Application J. W. Bennett. In Re Application Rezoning Bush St. bet. Sixth & Seventh Sts. In Re Application of 7th Day Adventist Church. In Re Application Mrs. Myrtle Denner. On motion of T~rustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of Hubert Nail, Jr. requesting permission to use the Municipal Bowl in the near future for a bonfire and rally of the Highschool Student Body, was granted on recommendation of the Fire Chief. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of J. W. Bennett for a permit to construct a five car garage frame building at 108A W. First Street, was denied on recommendation of the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of the United Presbyterian Church and the Church of the Messiah for the rezoning of the property on the west side of Bush Street between Sixth and Seventh from Court and Apartment House Zone to Neighborhood Business was referred to the Planning Commission. The of the Planning Commission that the application be~ denied, was read and on motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to investigate said application. Trustees Rowland, Bruns, Le~ye and Penn were appointed as the committee. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the property on the west side of Bush Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets was orderea posted f~ Neighborhood Business Zone and the hearing date set December ~rd, 19~A. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns amd carried, the application of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for a permit to remodel their church at the corner of Fifteenth and Sycamore Streets, was referred to the Planning On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and the property at the corner of Fifteenth and Sycamore Streets was ordered posted for special uses and the hearing date set December ~rd, 19~4. The recommendation of the Planning Commission to deny the application of Mrs. Myrtle Denner to conduct a maternity home at 2415 N. Main Street, was read. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to investi- gate the application of Mrs. Myrtle Denner and report back in one week. Trustees Penn, Rowland and LeGaye were ted as the cemmittee.
