Sixth & Seventh Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application of <br /> <br />7th Day Adventist Church. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Mrs. Myrtle Denner. <br /> <br />On motion of T~rustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the application of Hubert Nail, Jr. requesting permission <br />to use the Municipal Bowl in the near future for a bonfire <br />and rally of the Highschool Student Body, was granted on <br />recommendation of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of J. W. Bennett for a permit to construct <br />a five car garage frame building at 108A W. First Street, <br />was denied on recommendation of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the application of the United Presbyterian Church and the <br />Church of the Messiah for the rezoning of the property on <br />the west side of Bush Street between Sixth and Seventh from <br />Court and Apartment House Zone to Neighborhood Business <br />was referred to the Planning Commission. The <br />of the Planning Commission that the application be~ denied, <br />was read and on motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns <br />and carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee <br />to investigate said application. Trustees Rowland, Bruns, <br />Le~ye and Penn were appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried, <br />the property on the west side of Bush Street between Sixth <br />and Seventh Streets was orderea posted f~ Neighborhood <br />Business Zone and the hearing date set December ~rd, 19~A. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns amd carried, <br />the application of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for a <br />permit to remodel their church at the corner of Fifteenth <br />and Sycamore Streets, was referred to the Planning <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted <br /> and the property at the corner of Fifteenth and Sycamore <br /> Streets was ordered posted for special uses and the hearing <br /> date set December ~rd, 19~4. <br /> <br /> The recommendation of the Planning Commission to deny the <br /> application of Mrs. Myrtle Denner to conduct a maternity <br /> home at 2415 N. Main Street, was read. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to investi- <br /> gate the application of Mrs. Myrtle Denner and report back <br /> in one week. Trustees Penn, Rowland and LeGaye were <br /> <br />ted as the cemmittee. <br /> <br /> <br />
