Hill. <br /> <br />The application of the Santa Ana 20-30 Club was read request <br />ing permission to install a regulation Lawn Bowling course, <br />120' x 120f, on city property north of the Municipal Bowl, <br />as an S.E.R.A. project a~d the Club furnishing all material <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the application of the 20/30 Club was referred to a commit- <br />tee of Trustees Bruns, Penn and Rowland to investigate and <br /> <br /> in one week. <br /> <br />report back~ <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Parent-Teachers Association was given permission to use <br />a City truck and driver for itsf float in the Pasadena <br />Tournament of Roses Parade New Year's Day if the decorating <br />of float can be handled after 8 P.M. December 31st, 193A. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried <br />the application of Delbert Keiser for permission to manu- <br />facture candy at his residence, 1811 Cypress Avenue, for <br />wholesale and retail purposes, was referred to the Plannin~ <br />Commission. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trmstee Penn, seconded by Howland and carried, <br />the application of o. H. Eckles for a permit to sell g <br />at retail from gasoline pump now in place at his place of <br />business, 81§ E. Third Street, was referred to the Planning <br /> <br />Commis si on. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, <br /> <br />seconded by Penn aha carried, <br /> lease and <br /> <br />the request of U. E. Harding for permission to/use his pro- <br />perty at 711 S. Broadway for a physician, s office and clinic <br />was referred to the Planning vommission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Fenn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br />the application of William D. Hill for a permit to drive a <br />taxicab for the Courtesy C~b Company, was referred to the <br />Taxicab Comsnission. On motion of Trustee Rowland,seconded <br />by Bruns and carried, the application of WilLiam D. Hill <br /> <br />was granted on recommsndation of the Taxicab Gommission. <br /> <br /> <br />
