Santa AnaCity Hall. NOvember 26th, 1934. 7:30 P.M. City Co,,w~il met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, W.H. Penn, Plummet W. Bruns, E.G. Warner. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Application Santa Ana 20/30 Club. In Re Float in Pasadena Tournament of Roses. In Re Application Delbert Keiser. The application of the Santa Ana 20-30 Club was read request ing permission to install a regulation Lawn Bowling course, 120' x 120f, on city property north of the Municipal Bowl, as an S.E.R.A. project a~d the Club furnishing all material On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, the application of the 20/30 Club was referred to a commit- tee of Trustees Bruns, Penn and Rowland to investigate and in one week. report back~ On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Parent-Teachers Association was given permission to use a City truck and driver for itsf float in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade New Year's Day if the decorating of float can be handled after 8 P.M. December 31st, 193A. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried the application of Delbert Keiser for permission to manu- facture candy at his residence, 1811 Cypress Avenue, for wholesale and retail purposes, was referred to the Plannin~ Commission. . On motion of Trmstee Penn, seconded by Howland and carried, the application of o. H. Eckles for a permit to sell g at retail from gasoline pump now in place at his place of business, 81§ E. Third Street, was referred to the Planning Commis si on. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn aha carried, lease and the request of U. E. Harding for permission to/use his pro- perty at 711 S. Broadway for a physician, s office and clinic was referred to the Planning vommission. On motion of Trustee Fenn, seconded by Rowland and carried, the application of William D. Hill for a permit to drive a taxicab for the Courtesy C~b Company, was referred to the Taxicab Comsnission. On motion of Trustee Rowland,seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of WilLiam D. Hill was granted on recommsndation of the Taxicab Gommission.
