Sycamore Street and of <br /> Cope Electric Company to hang sign for Joe's Grocery at <br /> <br /> 117 N. Broadway, were granted under supervision of the <br /> Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the list of thirty-one men employed by the S.E.R.A. for <br /> school crossing guards, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br /> the matter with reference to the unpaid city license of <br /> <br /> R. Falcucci in amount of $8.00, was referred to the City <br /> Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Trustee Rowland and <br />duly carried, it was moved that the Mayor be directed to <br />recommend to the ~ablic Works Administration at Los Angeles, <br />California, that of the bids received for the proposed City <br />Hall in this City, which said bids were received and opened <br />on November 19, 19S4, the firm of Ball & Honer of santa Aha, <br />California, be awarded the contract as the lowest responsi- <br />ble bidder, with the understanding that this recommendation <br />is in no wise binding on the part of the City of Santa Aha, <br />in so far as the said firm of Ball & Honer is concerned. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee B~uns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br /> to return <br /> the Clerk was instructed/the checks and bonds of contractors <br /> <br /> submittin~ bids on the construction of the City Hall, except- <br /> ing the three lowest bidders. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and carried, <br /> the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />City <br /> <br /> <br />
