On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of the Shell 0il Cc~pany for permission to parade their sound truck through the street and distribute ghristmas candy to school children, was granted under super- vision of the Police Department. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, Mr. 0. S. Johnson of the Business Institute was granted per- mission to display specimens of penmanship and art from his school in windows of the City Clerk and Water Department offices. . On motion of Trustee Penn, secon~ded by Bruns and carried, the following resolution was adopted: BE IT RESOLVED BY ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Mayor and City Engineer of said City be and they are hereby authorized to make and file an application with the State Emergency Relief Administration for approval of a project for repairs to a portion of the outfall sewer, the city accepting and agreeing to all S.E.R.A. conditions governing such projects and to furnish equipment and super- vision only. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a correct copy of a Resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at a meeting held December 10th, 195A. E. L.
