F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, <br />W. H. Penn, Plummet W. Bruns, E. G. Warner. <br /> <br />Absmt: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />F. R. Nichols, Pension Plan. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and car- <br />ried, the application of F. R. Harwood, Chairman for the <br />James L. Davis for Congress Campaign Committee requesting <br />permission to use Birch Park following the band concert, <br />Thursday evening,August 23rd, was granted~ for the put <br />of a political speech. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and car- <br />ried, the appl~c ation of the George Creel for Governor <br />Committee, for the use of Birch Park following the band <br />concert, Thursday evening, August 16th, for the purpose <br />of a political speech, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and car- <br />ried, the application of Chas. L. Coleman, Pastor of the <br />Gospel Mission, 314 E. Fourth Street, for permission to <br />move his Mission to a tent to be erected on vacant proper- <br />ty in the middle of the block on the south side of Edinge~ <br />Street at South Main Street, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carr~ d, <br /> H. <br />the application of Lyman/Sargent for appointment as spec- <br /> <br />ial police officer while employed as night sweeper opera- <br />tor for the City of Santa Ana, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application c~ J.
