On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconde~ <br /> by Penn and carried, the application was referred to Trus- <br /> tee ~Rowlan~ and Bru~ for investigation. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and car- <br /> ried, the monthly reports of the city officers for the <br /> month of July, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> on motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to <br /> demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and car- <br /> ried, the communication of the Orange County Printers <br /> Association signed by all of the Job printers in Santa Aha <br /> submitting a bid for the city printing for the ensuing <br /> year at codeLDrice~ adopted by members c~ the Association, <br /> was referred to the City Auditor for checking. <br /> <br /> ,f <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Rowland and car- <br /> ried, the report of the Library Board for the fiscal year <br /> ending June 30th, 1934, was referred to the Finance Com- <br /> mittee. <br /> <br />O~ motion of Trustee of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns <br />and carried, the Council proceeded to open bids for City <br />Advertiming for the coming year as follows: <br /> <br /> Register Publishing Co. Ltd. .45~ .45~ .45~ <br /> Orange County ~eporter .50 .50 .50 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and carried <br />the bid of the Register Publishing Company, Ltd. was <br />accepted as the lowest responsible bidder and the City <br />Attorney was instructed to prepare agreement covering the <br />City Adverttsing. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruma, seconded by Rowland and car- <br />tied, the City Attorney was appointed as a committee of <br />one to cor~er with the editor of the Santa Ana Daily Regis, <br />ter and M~. A. G. Diehl, president of the Taxpayers League <br />to solicit support of the voters of the City in the August <br />20th bond election to incur indebtedness in the amount of <br /> <br /> <br />
