Santa Ana City Hall. August lOth, 1934. 12 Noon. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Warner. Present: Trustees A. F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, W. H. Penn, Plunmmer W. B~ns, E. G. Wanner. Absent: Trustees None. In Re Ordinance No. 997 Callin~ Special Election to Secure Funds for Serial Bonds. An Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, California, calling a special election to be held in said City on the 20th day of August, 1934, and providing for the submtssio~ to the qualified voters of said City of the proposition of incurring indebtedness in the amount of $250,000.00 for the purchase of serial improvement bonds issued for st~eet~ sewer, d~ainage or other improvements within the City of Santa Ana and providing for Notice of such Election to b e given." was finally read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 997 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees A. F. LeGaye, Fred C. Rowland, W. H. Penn, Plummet W. Bruns, E. G. Warner. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees None. In He Election Costs. On motion of Trustee Rowland, seconded by Penn and car- ried, the salaries of election officers were set at $4.00 ~ h/Paer day eac nd the amount to be paid for polling places was set at $3.00 each~ at the election be be held August 20, 1934 On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Rowland and car- ried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, August 13th, 1934, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber.
