Markel. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />November Qth, 1935. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> The ~hair granted the committee, which was appointed, more <br /> time to investigate the recommendation of the Forestry Board <br /> to purchase the Boy Scout Cabin at Fisher Park. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Nolon M. Doss for a permit to erect a <br />service station at the southeast corner of First and Patton <br />Streets, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the property at <br />the southeast corner of First and Patton Streets was ordered <br />posted for special uses and the hearing date set November <br />18th in accordance with the application of Nolon M. Doss to <br />construct a service station. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn, and carried, <br />the application of the 20-30 Club requesting that a plot of <br />ground be set aside in Santiago Creek Park for the construc- <br />tion of a bowling green, was granted subject to coordinative <br />planning with the Forestry Board and entering into contract <br />approved by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of the Girl Scouts of America for a plot of <br />ground to be aside for their use in the Santiago Creek Park, <br />was referred to Chairman Walker of the Planning Commission, <br />Mayor Rowland, Trustee Bruns and the City Engineer as ~the <br />committee formerly appointed on a similar application of the <br />Boy$6outs. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the <br />application of Jules W. Markel for the privilege of placing <br />a 35 foot driveway in front of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber <br />Company's property on So. Main Street, was referred to the <br />Street Commissioner and Street Superintendent with power to <br /> <br />act. <br /> <br /> <br />
