Harlow for permission to conduct <br />a garage in the building at the southeast corner of Fifth <br />and Bush Streets, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br />of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the applica- <br />tion of Harry S. Harlow to conduct a garage at Fifth and Bush <br />Streets, was granted. <br /> <br />There being no written or oral protests, on motion of Trustee <br />Layton, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of <br />Nolon M. Doss for a permit to erect a service station at the <br />southeast corner of First and Patton Streets, was referred <br />to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br />of T~ustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of Nolon M. Doss to construct service station,was grante <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the <br />application of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to hang an <br />oversize electric sign at the southwest corner of Main and <br />Walnut Streets, was granted under supervision of the Electri- <br />cal Inspector. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Planning Commission and Forestry Board were directed to <br />prepare a rough sketch of band stand and rest rooms for Birch <br />Park to be submitted to P.W.A. officials. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> <br />C. E. Bressler was appointed a member of the Planning Commis- <br />sion to fill the unexpired term of Wm. J. Tway as of June 30, <br />1937. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Lay2on and carried, <br />E. D. Yost was appointed a member of the Planning Commisslo~ <br />to fill the unexpired term of Milburn G. Harvey, whose te~m <br />expires June 30th, 1936. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried~ <br />Rex Kennedy was appointed a member of the Library Board to <br />fill the unexpired term of Mrs. Eleanor Northcross, whose <br />term expires June GOth, 1936. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the report of Trustee Smith upon the detailed items setforth <br />in change order #6 on the City Hall as agreed upon between <br />the contractors and architects, was approved, which report <br /> <br /> <br />
