Layton, <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Minute s <br /> <br /> order by Mayor Rowland. <br /> <br /> Pll~muer W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, <br /> W. H. Penn, Fred C. RowLand. <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />of meeting of November 18th were approved as read. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1025 <br /> <br />Fixing Place of Meeting <br /> <br />of the City Council <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Signs--Broadway & <br /> <br />Walnut Church of Christ. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />A. H. Colvin. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign <br /> <br />Western Auto Supply Co. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns, the following <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance fixing the place of meeting of the City <br /> Council of the City of Santa Ama, Orange County, <br /> California, and repealing Ordinance No. 974 of said <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br /> City" <br /> <br />was finally read, <br /> <br />and passed by the <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummer W. <br /> <br /> Layton, W. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br />considered, designated Ordinance No. 1025 <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, Ernest H. <br /> H. Penn, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of George W. Duke, Trustee of the Broadway & <br />Walnut Chnrch of Christ for permission to post 12"xlS" metal <br />signs to advertise location of church, was granted to post <br />signs at the following locations: Northwest corner of Walnut <br />and Main Streets, Southeast corner of First and Broadway and <br />the Southeast corner of Broadway and Santa Ama Boulevard with <br />sign to fac$ Broadway. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of the Chamber of Commerce requesting the <br />City Council to enter the Santa Ana Band, as the official <br />entry of the City, in the annual parade of the Pasadena Tour- <br />nament of Roses, was referred to a committee of Trustees <br />Smith, Penn and Bruns. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />permission was granted A. H. Colvin to conduct his confection <br />stand at the southwest corner of Third and Birch Streets in <br />Birch Park until January 1st, 1936, at which time he must <br />remove the stand. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the application of Gilbert-Weston-Stearns for permission to <br />hang an electric sign 3~'x8½', which is oversize, for the <br />Western Auto Supply Company at 202 N. Main Street, was refer- <br /> <br />red to a committee to investigate and report back. Trustees <br />Layton, Bruns and Inspector Packard were appointed. <br /> <br /> <br />
