Goeman. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Denial--Claim <br /> <br />of William Griset. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on <br /> <br />City Printing. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on <br /> <br />City Advertising. <br /> <br />In Re l <br /> <br />Health Report. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Warrant s. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Rezoning of <br /> <br />West First St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />and on recommendation of the City Attorney,the claim of H. <br />Goemau in the amouut of $270.80 for alleged damages to newly <br />seeded alfalfa from flood waters in the south part of the <br />City, was denied. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the claim of William Griset in the amount of $800.00 for <br />alledged damages to growing crops, was denied on recommenda- <br />tion of the City Attorney. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to proceed to open bids for all City <br />printing for the coming year as follows: Bid in amount of <br />$172~.75 submitted by ten printers of Santa Aha, estimated by <br />the Orange County Commercial Printers Association and request <br />ing the distribution of the printing, was ~eferred to the <br />Purchasing Agent for checking and report back. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of <br />the Clerk was <br /> <br /> Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> <br /> instructed to proceed to open bids for all City <br />advertising for the coming year as follows: <br /> <br /> Orange County Reporter .30~ .30~ .30~ <br /> Santa Ana Journal ~40~ .~5~ .~5~ <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the bids on city advertising were taken under advisement. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion cf Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the quarterly report of the Health Department for the months <br />of ~April, M~V and June, 1936, was referred to the Finance <br />Committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> <br />the monthly reports of the various <br />month of July were referred to the <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />City Officers for the <br />Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the <br />monthly demands audited by the Finance Committee, numbering <br />from $9255 to #421. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the property on both sides of West First Street between Broad <br />way and Patton Streets was ordered posted for Business Zone <br />and the Joint hearing date set August l?th, 1956, in accord- <br />ance with the petition of property owners i~the vicinity. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> <br />
