Eighth Street, was referred to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of Chairty Adams was granted under special uses to permit Dr. H. B. Christiansen to conduct his office at 311 W. Eighth Street. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of Atkinson and Hawthorne for the rezoning of the southwest corner of Eighth and Birch Streets f~om Residential to First Class Apartment House Zone, was granted on recommendation of the Planning Commission. # On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the petition of property owners for the rezoning of West First Street between Broadway and Patton Streets from Single Residence Zone to Business Zone, was denied. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the monthly reports of city officers for the month of August were referred to the Finance Committee.
