Hall. <br /> <br />April 19th, 1937. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />~eeting called to order by Nayor Rowland. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. <br /> W.H. Penn, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> Absent: Trustees Ernest H. Laytono <br /> <br />Smith <br /> <br />Each Trustee having received a copy of the Einutes, <br />further reading of the Einutes of Epril 5th, 1937, <br />was dispensed with and the Ninutes approved on <br />motion of Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />LeRoy Burns. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Dr.. Jbnes to erect a duplex on the east side of Olive Street <br />between Tenth and Washington, on motion of Trustee Smith, <br />seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of James S. <br />Jones to erect a duplex was referred back to the Planning <br />Commission for recommendation. Action was postponed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of the Dept. of Governmental Participation <br />requesting support of Assembly Bill #252, which provides for <br />an appropriation of $5,000,000 for a State exhibit for the <br />purpose of advertising the State of California at the Golden <br />Gate International Exposition in 19Z9, was referred to the <br />committee as a whole. <br /> <br /> <br />
