Smith, Absent, None <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the Mayor was authorized to appoint a committee relative to <br />purchase of equipment for the repair of the pumping plant at <br />the Joint 0utfa!l Sewer. Trustees Smith and Bruns and City <br />Auditor Banks were appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the City of Santa Ana as contracting party, to purchase <br />insurance on the Joint Outfall Sewer in the amount of <br />$100,000.00 with initial premium as $3250.00, subject to the <br />apyroval of the other member cities of the Joint 0utfa!! Sewe <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion <br />of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of James S. Jones for a permit to construct a duplex on <br />Lot 20 and the north one-half of Lot 21, Tract 854, being on <br />the east side of Olive Street between Tenth and Washington, <br />was granted under special use. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution opposing establishment of Hog l~anch" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2522 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummet W.
