On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the request of Josephine Lykke, Secy. Santa Aha Kennel Club, for a free permit to hold third annual American Kennel Club Dog Show on October 16th and 17th, in the National G~ard Armox Bldg. 415} W.4th St., was granted. # On motion of Trustee Bruno, seconded by Smith and carried, application of Myrtle A. Williams request ing permisslon to move office of Courtesy Cab Co. from 301 N. Sycamore St. to 303 N. Broadway, was granted. # On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Layton and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign Official Project 165-3-3548, covering con- tinuation of Santiago Park improvement project. . On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Smith and carried, an investigation was authorized with ~efe~ once to discontinuance of rodent control W.P.A. ~roJeet in the City of Santa Aha and Trustee Stuns was appointed to make necessary investigation. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, bid of the Orange County Reporter, dated August 2nd, 1937, for City advertising for the coming year, was received and contract awarded at the rate of $.35 per inch for all adve~tising. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, report from County Auditor as to estimate assessed valuation of the accepted and referred to # City of Santa Aha, was the City Auditor. On motlc~ of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, petition of Veterans' Welfare Board reque~ lng cancellation of certain taxes now appearing on the tax records as a lien against property now owned by them, was denied.
