L. <br /> Hood to construct a service station at 1425 N. Main Street. <br /> <br /> The recommendation of the Planning Commission was followed <br /> and on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and car- <br /> ried, the application of Bartelson Pontiac Company to estab- <br /> lish a Used Car Market on Lots 8 and 10, Block B, Tract 139, <br /> in the 2400 block North Main Street, was denied in view of <br /> the oral protests and deed restrictions. <br /> <br /> The recommendation of the Planning Commission was followed <br /> and on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried <br /> the application of Jessie C. Kempton to conduct a stenographic <br /> club at 626 N. Ross Street, was denied. <br /> <br /> . <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No~ 709 of the City of <br /> Santa Aha entitled 'An Ordinance regulating and supervis- <br /> ing certain business where games of pool, billiards, baga- <br /> telle, bowling alleys or other.lawful games are carried on <br /> for profit or gainw" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1071 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Joseph P.
