Main Btreet, described as Lot 2, Block E, <br />Goodwin's Addition, was granted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved <br />and the application of Emmet C. Rogers to construct a duplex <br />on Lot 17, ~ract No. 532, located at the southwest corner of <br />Oak and Grant Streets, was granted. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> APPROVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of the Cit~y of n a na. <br /> <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />December l~th, 1938. <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees Joseph P. Smith, Plummet W.~Bruns, <br /> Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees W. H. Penn. <br /> <br />The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and <br />each member of the City Council having received a <br />copy of the Minutes, further reading of the Minutes <br />of December 5th, 1938, was dispensed with and the <br />Minutes approved on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded <br />by Bruns and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request of <br /> <br />Chas. W. Taylor. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />H. T. Dunning. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />A communication Was read of Charles W. <br />had entered into an agreement to sell <br /> <br />Taylor stating that he <br />to H. C. Flint the <br /> <br />property located at 528 W. 19th Street, legal description <br />being Lot l, Block B, Tract 256, conditioned on Mr. Flint <br />being able to erect on the south end of this lot, facing <br />Greenleaf Street, a five or six room single dwelling. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the Building Inspector was authorized to grant an additional <br />permit to erect a residence on Lot l, Block B, Tract 256. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of H. T. Dunning for special use to erect a <br />service station on the southeast .corner of Seventeenth and <br />Broadway, was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
