Broadway, <br />size 3'x4', and pump it with argon gas to make it blue <br />instead of red, was referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Pursuant to policy adopted by the <br />Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith <br /> <br />Council, it was moved by <br />and carried, the petition <br /> <br />of the Veterans' Welfare Board for the cancellation of cer- <br />tain taxes now appearing on the tax records as a lien against <br />property owned by the Board, was denied and Clerk instructed <br />to advise the Board of the Council's action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, secor~ied by Smith and carried, <br />the application of Wm. Steiner to conduct the business of <br />dealing in motor vehicles at ll7 N. Sycamore Street, was <br />granted and Clerk instructed to issue license to cover. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> <br />the minutes of the Forestry Board for the meeting held May <br />24th, were received and filed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the request of Plummet W. Bruns to withdraw as ex-officio <br />member of the Traffic Safety Commission of Santa Ana, was <br /> <br /> regrets. <br /> <br />granted with <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of <br /> <br /> Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the request of Ernest H. Layton to relinquish his official <br />capacity as ex-officio member of the Santa Ana Forestry Board <br />was granted with regrets. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the recommendation of the ~lanniog Commission was concurred <br />in and the property located on Pine Street between Cedar and <br />Halladay Street, described as Lot 3, Block B, Benedict's Sub- <br />division of the Daniel Halladay Tract, was ordered posted for <br />special use and the hearing date set July 5th, 1@~8, in <br />accordance with the application of Julian H.
