Townsend, Dir. C.S.0. requesting that <br />yellow or green zone be painted on the curb between the drive- <br />ways in front of building at 114 So. Main St.; that a sign be <br />hung from the front of the building and permission to place a <br />bench on the sidewalk near the curb for convenience of <br />servicemen, was read. <br /> <br />The report of H.M.Neighbour, St. Supt. that the C.S.0. be <br />permitted to put in a temporary curb, on north driveway, at <br />ll4 So. Main St. and that the curb be painted red was concurred <br />in and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the communication was referred to the Police Dept. <br />for their ~proval and Attorney instructed to draw Resolution <br />covering this red zone for presentation at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />the notification of the State <br /> <br />seconded by Haan and carried, <br />Board of Equalization of <br /> <br />alcoholic beverage application made by Frank Musselman, <br />dba Jessamine Wine Co., was received and filed. <br /> <br />Communication from the Bart Lumber Co. requesting permission <br />to cross Third St. with wires to compressor and pump in the <br />yard, between Second and Third Sts., was read and on motion <br />of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the <br />communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the application of Glenn Bennett to drive a bus for the Santa <br />Ana Bus Co., was received and permit granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the ~oplication of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1314 No. <br />Broadway, for permission to solicit funds, in the amount of <br />$850.00, was granted, provided it has the approval of the <br />Business Men's Association. <br /> <br />Communication from Harold Yost, Business Manager, Santa Ana <br /> <br />City Schools, reference to summer playground program, setting <br /> the method <br />forSh/of h~a~liag recreation expense, was read and referred, <br /> <br />by the Chair, to the Forestry Board for their action. <br /> <br /> <br />
