Haan, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Absent: Trust~es W.J.~heney <br /> <br />The Cl~rk comenced the reading of the Minutes a~d each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of December 4th, 1944, further reading of the <br />Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of <br />Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Office of Price Adm. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Chamber of Commerce <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />W.G.Robertson <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Mrs. Jane Garretson <br /> <br />?:~0 P.M. <br /> <br />On'motion Of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br /> <br />carried, communication from Office of Price Admlnistrati <br /> courtesies and <br />extending thanks to the Council for~use of office space <br /> <br />at 502 No. Sycamore St., was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, communication from Pres. Chamber of Commerce <br />outlining their opposition to proposed location at l?th <br />and Bristol Sts. for the new Junior College, was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />Communication from W.G.Robertson, 433 W. 4th St., <br />requesting that bench located in front of his place of <br />business be removed was read, and on motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the Superintend- <br />ent of Streets was instructed to have bench removed to <br />a more suitable location. <br /> <br />Communication from Mrs. Jane Garretson relative to ovex~ <br />crowding of passengers in taxicabs and refusal of <br /> <br />Cab. Co. to haul cripples, was read and on motion of <br />Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />communication was received and filed without comment. <br /> <br />~n <br /> <br /> <br />
