On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, communication from R.H.Boney, Anaheim represent. ative of Joint Outfall Sewer ~nclosing copy of letter forwarded to Dr. Russell, regarding the activities of the Joint Outfall Sewer in its negotiations with Newport Beach, was received and filed. On reco~endation of the Nayor and on motion of '~rustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, J. Russell Bruff was appointed as a member of the Forestry Board, term to expire June ~Oth, 1947. Mayor Hoffman, representative of the Joint Outfall Sewer Board presented an amendment to the present agreement of the City of Newport Beach for permanent connection at a point where the City of Newport Beach now has a . temporary connection for disposal of sewage and recommen~- ed the same be approved. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the Council approved the amendment to the present contract of the Joint Outfall Sewer with the City of Newport Beach as submitted by Newport Beach. Pursuant to Resolution of Intention, the Clerk read the offer of Earl Bashor and L~aln A. Bashor, husband and wife, as Joint tenants, t° purchase a Lot 78 x 125.~ ft. ~.8 ft. south of 18th St. and 198 ft. East of Broadway in Section l~, To,~nship 8-R l0 West, in the amount of $1800.00. No person being present Earl Basho~ and Lulu A. desirous of ~aising the bid of Bashor, on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the Resolution For Sale of Real Property wes reed, considered, designated Resolution No. 3571, and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Otto R. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon~ Haan, Asa Hoffman.
