<br /> Minutes of the Executive Board of the Joint Outfall Sewer meeting
<br /> held at Anaheim, May 6th, 1945, were received, approved and filed.

<br /> Copies of communications from Engineer and ~ater Superintendent,
<br /> were read,
<br /> addressed to Civil Service Board,/advising that Huleen Awalt and
<br />Ernest Boyd, laborers, Water Department, have completed their
<br />probationary periods and should be placed on a permanent status
<br />as ~of-May 10th, 1948; Ray Graham and Chapman Lantz should be place~
<br />on a permanent status as of May 18th, 1948 and that Melvin Finley,
<br />James Richmond, James Wakefield, Albert Garcia, Frank Garcia shoul(
<br />be placed o.n a permanent status as of May. 10th, 1948 and Vernon
<br />Darnell on a permanent status as of May 15, 1948, and on motion of
<br />Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy, appointments were approved subject
<br />to Civil Service Board.

<br />tendering his resignation effective May alst, 1948, and copy of
<br />letter addressed to Chief of Police from E.A.Renwlck, patrolman,
<br />tendering his resignation effective June 1st, 1948, were read and
<br />on motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br />communications were received and filed.
