On recommendation of the com~"~ !ttee and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the bid of Pacific Clay Products was accepted covering the furnishing of 8~00 ft. of 12 inch vitrified clay sewer pipe. On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and camried, the bid of Pernal Barnett was accepted covering construction of sanitary sewer ma~n line and ,manholes on Pacific Ave. from 6th St. to Washington Avenue. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission granting a variance to Stanley Elzea to permit a furniture repair and refinishing shop at the rear of 511 W. 2nd St., under certain conditions, was .approve.d and application granted. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Ordinance entitled= "An Ordinance Amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1029" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second re ading. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Mandy and carried, the following Ordinance entitled= "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 658, which is an Ordinance regulating the license fees of the City of Santa Aha" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, assigm~ent of lease between City of Santa Aha and Orange County Board of Education, covering leasing of Rooms 225 and 226, at 1104 W. 8th St., was approved and proper authorities authorized to execute same. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, the followlng Ordinance entitled= "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 1191, an Ordinance regulating parking me~era in the City of Santa Aha" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reqding. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolution entitled= "Resolution Designating Persons Authorized to Sign City Warrants" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3660 and passed by the following vote=
