<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />the .demands, as audit.ed by the Finance Committee, were approved
<br />and Clerk authorized to draw warrants covering demands numbering
<br />421~ to 4262 inclusive and demands numbering 1 to ~30 inclusive.
<br />On motion of Truste.e Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />Map Tract No. 1290 and bond of Wesley Farney, in the amount of
<br />$1B, 000.00, were approved covering improvements on Eleventh Stree'
<br />between Bristol Street and Pacific Avenue, a~ proper authorities
<br />authorized to sign map.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission granting a variance
<br />to Arthur E.~ Herrick to ~permit a reduction in front yards, from
<br />thirty to twenty-five feet, on two lots on each side of Lowell
<br />Street J~st north of Fifteenth Street, was approved and applicati¢
<br />~ranted.

<br />A petition was read signed by seventeen property owners requestin
<br />abandonment of a fifteen foot alley located between Seventh and
<br />Eighth Streets, running east and west between Pacific and Hesperi
<br />if Hesperian Street was extended.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br />petition was received, filed and referred to Planning Commission
<br />for recommendation.
