<br />Opinion was read from City Attorney relative to claim of Shelby
<br />
<br />L. Bryson, patrolman, and on motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by
<br />Chandler and carried, claim in the amount of $A90.00 was allowed.
<br />Trustee Mandy reported that after considerable discussion with
<br />
<br />Mrs. Alicia M. Chandler, Chief of Police Hershey and Captain Fink
<br />
<br />relative to ejection of Mrs. Chandler from Planning Commission
<br />
<br />meeting on July 28th, 19AS~ the situation has been clarified to
<br />
<br /> the satisfaction of all parties, concerned and on motion of
<br />
<br />Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was
<br />
<br />received and filed.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />
<br /> the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution authorizing the condemnation of a
<br /> certain parcel of real property for public
<br /> street purposes and declaring the public
<br /> necessity of said use of said real property"
<br />

<br />of ~th Street, subject to the approval of the State Hig~hway
<br />Department and waiver of thirty-day award of contract clause.

<br />On recommendation of the committee, and on motion of Trustee
<br />Cheney, seconded by Mandy and carried, City Engineer was author-
<br />ized to issue a permit for installation of 83 ft. driveway at the
<br />corner of Grand Ave. and Third St. for use of new factory and
<br />market, in accordance with request of Gablna Solis.
