No. 3693 Accepting Grant Deed George Stearns et ux (Alley So.of and parallel to l?th) On motion of Trustee Char~iler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission granting a variance to James N. Hentges to permit establishment of a bungalow court and other multiple-family residences on a parcel 182% x 280' on the west side of Sullivan St. approximately 100 feet north of W. First St., was approved subject to certain conditionsand application g~ant~d. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission granting a variance to M.B.Hendricks to permit a commercial building for banking purposes, involving Lots 1, 2, 9 and 10, Block "B" of Price and Stella Fruit Addition at the northeast corner of Eighth and Main Streets and the northwest corner of Eighth and Bush Streets, was approved subject to certain conditions, and application wanted. On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Chene seconded by Mandy and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Concerning Parkihg Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" establishing an unloading zone on the north side of W. Third St., between Main and Sycamore Sts., located as follows: the westerly 18.5 feet of the easterly 27.5 feet, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3691 and passed by the following vote:~ Ayes, Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler, Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed. Noes, Trustees None Absent, Trustees R. Carson Smith. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Chandler and carried, the following Resolution entitled:· "ResolutiQn authorizing and directing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the improvement of East Fourth Street, from the Southern Pacific Railroad to the East City Limits, in the City of Santa Aha, and fixing the prevailing wage rate" was read, considered, destgmated Resolution No. 3692 and passed by the following ~vote.* Ayes, Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney R. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Accepting Grant Deed" fr~m George Stearns and Etta Mae Stearns, husband and wife, con- veying an easement for alley purposes over and across that real property described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of Patton Street .(50.00 feet wide) as shown on a Map of Tract No. llS4, recorded in Book 37, Page 13, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Oranse Count~, California, said point being distant South 0° 15' lC" West 199.00 feet from an inter- section of said center line with the South line, or the extension thereof, of Seventeenth Street as widened to 80.00 feet by final decree of condemnation rendered January ll, 1932 in Case No. 27242, in the Superior Court of Orange County, California; thence from said point of beginning West, parallel to said South line of Seventeenth Street, 281.68 feet to a point in a line parallel to and distant East 239.00 feet from the East line of Flower Street (80.00 feet wide) as described in deed to the City of Santa Ana, recorded February 8, 1948, in Book 1373, · page 419 of Official Records, records of said County;
