No. 26306-A providing for prorate of advance rents on property being sold by the City to Bekins Van and Storage Company, to date of close of escrow. # On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, certified copy of Minutes of Board of Supervisors dated July 5, }950, reference Aircraft Warning Program, was received and It was moved by Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and that the City of Santa Aha cooperate with the Oounty of Orange the Joint effort of operating the Filter Station located in Santa Aha, for the United States Army and Ben Liebermann was appointed as Supervisor O~ Recruitment. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Oheney and carried, Resolution from Buena Park Sanitary District authorizing and approving the agreement with the County of Orange and Orange Junior College District covering use of a portion of sewer pipe lines and treatment plant for disposal of sewage for sanitary sewer system of the Santa Ana Army Air Base, was received and filed. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, military leave of absence requested by Gordon C. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication f~om Co-Chairman, Civic Beautification Committee, commending Park Superintendent in gaining for Santa Ana a fine reputation for its beautiful parkway plantings, was received filed. On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, t~he Clerk was authorized advertise for bids for the purchase of reinforced concrete st, water pipe, to be manufactured by the centrifugal process. # On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, request of Hockaday and Phillips, Inc., for a loading zone at 21 Spurgeon Street was referred to a committee for recommendation to report ba~k. T~stee Oheney and City Engineer, were aS committee, # Communication was read from California Highway Commission advis~ that it is not feasible at this time to take action on the of Main Street from Delhi Road to First Street and from Sixth Street to the City Limits, and suggesting that in order to immediate relief from congestion at very little cost, the City 'establish a one-way street system utilizingMain Street for bound traffic and Broadway, for south-bound traffic. On
