<br /> On recommendation of the City Attorney and Engineer and on motion
<br /> of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the Mayor and
<br /> Clerk wer~ authorized to execute agreement dated July 10, 1950,
<br /> between the City and the United States of America covering the
<br /> construction of a water line on Delhi Road for the purpose of
<br /> supplementing the watersupply at the Marine Corps Air Station,
<br />
<br /> E1 Toro.

<br /> On motion of Trustee 0handler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the
<br /> Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute agreement ~ated July
<br /> 10, 1950, between the City and Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce,
<br /> covering advertising, which agreement expires June 30, 1951.
<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seeonde~ by Cheney and carried,
<br /> the following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "Ordinance Amending Zoning Ordinance Nd. 1074#
<br /> reference amendment to Zoning Ordinance to reclassify property at
<br /> 310 North Bristol Street, known as the northerly 80 feet of Lots
<br /> 17 and 18 in Block "B" of Goldsmithte Addition, from R-2 to 0-2
<br /> District, in accordance with application of Tony Luna, was intro-

<br /> duceS, read, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br /> following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> 18 inclusive, in Block #B" of Tract No. 633, being located on the
<br /> south side of Sixth Street and west of Hawley Street, from the
<br /> Residence District to the M-1 Manufacturing District, in accord-
<br /> anco with application of Rartha Xoofolis, was introduced, read,

<br /> considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br /> action en Ordinance regulating the use of orchard, nursery, or
<br /> citrus grove heaters, prohibiting certain types, and providing
<br />
<br />'penalty for violation, was deferred until a later date.

<br /> Igationhad been made,'and offering no recommendation, reference
<br /> petition protesting issuance of liquor per,it to Ramon A. Prado,

<br /> and carried, Clerk was instructed to notify petitioners'that
<br /> Council does not wish to take any official action in the matter
<br /> but to leave it to the discretion of the State Board of Equalizati
