<br />City Engineer's recommendation that a boulevard stop sign be
<br />installed on Edlnger on the east side of Bristol Street if the
<br />County installs a similar sign on the west side, and on motion of
<br />.Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, communication was
<br />

<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br /> requester California National Guard that heating facilities be
<br /> installed in building used for drill purposes at the Community
<br /> Center, was referred to the Park Superintendent to work out an
<br /> arrangement whereby the building may be heated.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the
<br />recommendation of the Mayor was approved and the following named
<br />persons were~appointed as members of the Hearing Board as provided
<br />~for in. Section 9 ~b) of Ordinance No. 1303 regulating the use of
<br />orchard, nursery or citrus grove heaters: H.M.Neighbour, City
<br />Engineer, Mrs. B.C. Cla~k, N~s. J.N.Mansfield, Russell Wilson and

<br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br /> Mayor was authorized to.appoint a committee to study the present
<br /> Bench Ordinance and report back to the Council with recommendation~
<br /> City Attorney, Engineer and Trustee Cheney, were appointed, as
<br /> committee.

<br />On motion or.Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />.Mayor was instructed to sign escrow instructions for the purchase
<br />from M. S.. Robinsom of property located on the south side of West
<br />Second Street between Broadway and Birch, described as Lots 32,
<br />
<br /> 34 and the East 15 feet of Lot 30 of The Park Tract Addition, in
<br /> the amount of $30,000.00, for Fire Station site.
<br />
<br /> Onmotion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, proper
<br /> officials were authorized to execute contract with Everett E. Park~
<br /> and Gates W. B~rrows, as Associated Architects, for the purpose
<br />
