<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the
<br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and
<br />variance granted to Carlyle and Wm. C. Dennl~ to permit the
<br />of rear yard requirement so that buildlogs may be bui].t to rear
<br />yard lines on property located at 315 East First Street.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and
<br /> variance granted to Cletus M. Wagner to permit the keeping of
<br /> birde .and the wholesale and retail sale of birds and bird supplie~
<br /> at 1601 West Second Street, subject to certain canditions.

<br /> On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee
<br /> Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the plans for the con-
<br /> struction of a 48", 45# and ~2" reinforced concrete storm sewer
<br /> on Fairvtew Ave., from To,met to Shelton, and on Shelton Street
<br />
<br /> from Falrview to Myrtle, were approved.

<br /> City Clerk to advertise for bids for the

<br /> forced concrete storm sewer on Fairview
<br /> Ave., from Towner to Shelton; and on
<br /> Shelton Street from Fairview to Myrtle,
<br /> in the City of Santa Ana, and fixing the
<br /> prevailing wage rate"
