Santa Aha City Employees <br />Association that three delegates be permitted to attend convention <br />at Santa Cr~z,, October 12, 13 and 15, 1950, was lead and on <br />motion of Trustee Cb-ndler, seconded by Martin and carried, toques <br />was granted, to the extent that time off with pay be allowed the <br /> <br />delegates. <br /># <br />The recommendation of the Park Superintendent and Planning Engine~ <br />was read that position of Planning Draftsman be vacated due to <br />lack of work, and on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by <br />Martin and carried, recommendation was approved and position <br /> <br />vacated effective October 1, 1950. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, <br />notifications of the State Board of Equalization of alcoholic <br />beverage applications made by KengH. Quong, 801 E. ~th St., <br />A~thur D. Galvan, 718 E. Sth St., and Phillip M. Rivera, 610 W. <br /> <br />Sth St., were received and filed. <br />. <br />On motion of T~ustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, <br />the recommendation of the committee that grandstands in the <br />Municipal Bowl be inspected yearly, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Chandler and ca~ried, <br />Mayor was instructed to write a letter of thanks and appreciation <br />to committee consisting of Harol~Rasmussen, Sidney L. Lowry and <br />J. Ogden MarEel, for'their assistance in inspecting the Municipal <br /> <br />Bowl. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, the <br />demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and <br /> <br />Clerk authorized to issue warrsmts covering demands. <br /># <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee. Ree~, <br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the bid of Matt J. Zaich, in the <br />amount of $16,880.~0, was accepted for the construction of a <br />sewer on Fairview from Towner to Shelton and on Shelton f~om <br /> <br />Fairvlew to Myrtle. <br /># <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee <br />Chandler, seconded by Mamtin and ckrried, the bid of John <br />Swigart 0o., in the amount of $23,852.95 was accepted for the <br /> <br /> <br />
