Council Chamber Santa Aha City Hall December 7, 1950. 1:00 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. Present: Absent: T~ustees Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler, John W. Martin Jr., Virgil H. Reed, Allen A. Mandy. None Each member of the City Council having received copies of theMinutes of November 16th and November 2?th, 1950, further reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried. In Re Bids R~surface W. 5th St. from Baker to Garnsey # On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Clerk was authorized to open bids for the resurfacing of West Fifth Street from Baker to Ga~nsey Street, as follows~ R.J.Noble Company - bond of 10% accompanied bid. One Hack Model 125 with 225 horsepower engine complete - One 1250 gallon triple combination pumper, $22,989.50. The Seagrave Corporation - bond of 10% accompanied bid. One Seagrave, Model 12-J Triple combination pumping engine, water tank, and hose carrier, $22,830.45. On motion of Tx,Astee R~ed, seconded by Chandler and carried, bids were referred to Trustee Martin, Fire Chief and Purchasing Agent In Re' Request S.A.Jr. Chamber of Commerce for. qhecking and report at the next meeting. Dn motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, request of Santa Ana Junior Chamber of Commerce to stage and hold the San~a Annual Frolic on city streets the evening of December l, 195( In Re Invitation City Employees Assoc. was granted. Communication was read from President, Santa Aha City Employees Association extending an invitation to the Council to attend the Employees Christmas party on December ll, 1950, and on motion of
