<br />On recammendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee
<br />Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the request of the
<br />
<br />First National Bank that the time limit on the two one-hour
<br />parking meters along the south side of the Bank building on East
<br />
<br />Third Street be changed to twenty-four minute meters, was granted
<br />.
<br />On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br />schedule of rates or fares of the Broadway Cab and the Black and
<br />
<br />Green Cab, were received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />bonds of M. Mendoza, Juan Ponce, Frank Van Dusen, Dan Vasquez
<br />and Ben Rochin, in the amount of $500.00 each for laying ceramic
<br />
<br />sewer pipe, were approved and ordered filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br />communication from Mrs. F.V.Boggess stating that it is almost
<br />impossible to cross the intersection of 10th and B~oadway safely,
<br />
<br />was received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and ca~ried, Map
<br />Tract No. 1478 coverin~ improvements of English Street, Alone
<br />Street, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th Streets, was approved, bond
<br />filed by Ross W. Corteee, Alone Marlowe Co~tese, W.G.Backue.and
<br />Audmey R. Backus, in the amount of $60,000.00 accepted and
<br />
<br />officials authorized to sign map.

<br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br />performance bond of David Johnson and Paul M. Johnson, in the
<br />amount of $5,000.00 in connection with trash and garbage contract
<br />was referred to committee composed of Trustee Reed and City
<br />
<br />Attorney fo~' corrections.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />Resolution No. 1018 of the City of Orange and Resolution No. 165
<br />of Placentia Sanitary District authorizing additional valve pit
<br />between Tank No. 1 and No. 2, as an addition to contract work
<br />on the site of the present sewage treatment plant, at the Joint
<br />
<br />Outfall Sewer, were ~.eeeived and filed.

<br />On motion of Truetee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />Resolution No. 166 of Placentia Sanitary District and Resolution
<br />Nc.l?81 of the City o'f Anaheim authorizing the substitution of
<br />valves not specified in the plans and specifications and approval
<br />of additional costs the~efox., at the Joint Outfall Sewer, were
<br />
<br />received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br />following Resolution entitled:
