(Owl-Mayfair) On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, proper officials were authorized to execute contract dated Dec. 7, 1950, between the City and Coates, Herfurth and England, Consultin Actuaries, in connection with ammVey ~o amend the contract with the State Employees' Retirement System. # 0ommunication was read from Planning Commission recommending that Ordinance No. 32, which relates to the keeping of animals and fowls in the City be revised, and on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, matter was referred to the City Attorney to wcrkwith thevarious departments involved. # · On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, amended Tentative Map of Tract No.. 1470, involving property bounded by Bristol, Sheltcn, Bishop and Richland Streets, was approved subject to conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission. # On recommendation of the Oity Engineer and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the plans for the widening the north side of of__/Weet First Street between Flower and ~arnsey Streets, were approved. # On motion of Trustee .Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and varianc granted to Emma Childers to permit doctors' offices and an off- street parking area for such uae on the west side of Sycamore Street about 115 feet north of Fifteenth Street, .on property as Lots 6, 5 and the northerly 15 feet of Lot 4, all in Block "B" of Swanner'e Addition, wmbJect to certain conditions. # On motion o~ Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and varianc granted to D.D.Hillyard ~ S.L.Low~y to permit an engineering surveying office at 122 E. ll~h S~reet, being l~lxe southwest cf Eleventh and BushStree~e, subject to certain conditions. . On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Pecommendation of l~e Planning Commission was approved and varianc granted to Clem Scheve to permit a garage-house to be built 5 feet f~om the rea~lot line instead of 20 feet on a lot which is imately 68'x1001 in size and located %t the northwest corner of Cubbon and Shelton Streets, in the R-1 District. .
