<br /> Record of Survey submitted by D.W.Hillyard, licensed ~urveyor,
<br /> on city owned property located at Delhi Road and Halladay, to be
<br /> used as City Nursery, was received, filed and Park Superintendent
<br />
<br /> instructed to fence the property according to survey.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br /> communication from City Engineer, together with letter from Gener~
<br /> Manager and Chief Engineer of the Water Department of the City of
<br /> Long Beach, reference membership fees of the California Municipal
<br />
<br /> Utilities Association, was filed.~

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br />communication from City Engineer, together with copy of letter
<br />from Captain C.R.John~on, Public Works Officer of the Eleventh
<br />Naval District, San Diego, referring to Resolution No. 3939
<br />requesting United States Navy to Join with the City in the con-
<br />struction of a water line on Delhi Road, was tabled until City
<br />Attorney receives revised copy of agreement from the Eleventh Nay
<br />District.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, M~
<br />of Tract NO. 1515 was approved covering improvements of Rosewood
<br />Street, Baker Street, Magnolia Street, Bristol Street, Wilshire
<br />Avenue, Borchard Avenue and Edinger Street, and bond w~itten by
<br />Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company, in the amount of $75000.0
<br />submitted by Melody Homes, Inc., accepted and proper officials~
<br />
<br />authorized to sign map.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />the plans for the improvement of College Avenue from Washington to
<br />
<br />Seventeenth Street, were approved.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that the ordinance
<br />regulating the subdivision of land be amended to provide that lots
<br />be required to have an average width of not less than fifty feet,
<br />
<br />was tabled.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />communication from Chamber of Commerce requesting that two-thirds
<br />of the money taken from the parking meters be applied to the pro-
<br />
<br />vision of additional off-street parking, was received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />communication from City of Tustln requesting information as to
<br />what the City of Santa Ana would charge to convey sewerage from
<br />
