Mandy. <br />W.J.Cheney. <br /> <br /> A report was read from Chief of Police reference request of Santa <br /> <br />Ana Fraternal Order of Eagles for permission to park a Buick <br /> <br />automobile at the corner of Sth and Main Streets, beginning June <br /> <br />23~d to June 30th inclusive,~for the purpose of selling tickets <br /> <br />on said automobile, and on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded <br /> <br />by M~tin and carried, request was granted subject to regulations <br /> <br />In Re <br />Resolution of <br />Board of Supervisors <br />canvass election <br />returns Santa Ara bond <br />proposition - Fire <br />Department bonds <br /> <br />of Chief of Police. <br />. <br />On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,. <br />Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, <br />California, stating the results of the canvass of election <br />returns of the City of Santa Ana Bond Proposition Fire Department <br /> <br />in Re <br />Resol. No.'3956 <br />Declaring results of <br />canvass of election <br />returns Santa Ara bond <br />proposition - Fire <br />Department Bonds <br /> <br />Bonds, held June 6, 1950, wae received and filed. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, <br /> <br />following. Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Declaring results of the canvass of election <br /> returns on Santa Ara Bond Proposition, Fire <br /> Department Bonds, election held June 6, 1950" <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3956 and pas~ed <br /> <br />by the following rate: <br /> <br />In Re <br />Agreement between <br />City and Santa Ana <br />Community Players <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Courtney R. None <br /> Absent, Trustees W.J.Cheney <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, <br /> <br />proper officials were authorized to execute agreement dated Ju~e <br /> <br />26, 1950 between City of Santa Ara and Santa Ara Community Players <br /> <br />In Re <br />Proposed fire <br />station site <br /> <br />said agreement to expire June 30, 1950. <br />, <br />On motion of T~ustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, Chairma <br /> <br />was authorized to appoint a committee to select a tgntative Site <br /> <br />for proposed new fire station in the vicinity of First and <br /> <br />Broadway, as approved in the Bond election held June 6, 1950. <br /> <br />Chairman appointed Trustees Martin, Reed, Fire Chief, Building <br /> <br />In Re <br />Claim for refund <br />of property taxes <br />Y.M.C.A. <br /> <br />Inspector and City Attorney, as committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, <br /> <br />claim and demand for refund of property taxes, requested by Young <br />Men~s Christian Association of Santa Ara, in the amount of <br /> <br />In Re <br />Opinion-City Attorney; <br />Resol. No. 3957 <br />Auth,. execution of <br />contract - Harrison <br />Pqntiac Co. <br /> <br />$1206.89 and interest, was received and filed. <br /> <br />Opinion from City Attorney was read reference contract with <br /> <br />Harrison Pontiac Company for purchase of eight automobiles for <br />the Police Department, and on motion of Trustee Martin, seconded <br /> <br />by Reed and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"A Resolution authorizing execution of <br />contract w~th Harrison PontiAc Country <br />for ~e purchase, maintenance and <br />resale of eigh~ Pontiac automobiles" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3957 and passed <br /> <br /> <br />
