Reed, R. Ca~son <br />Smith, Wm. J. Cheney and Courtney R. Chandler, having <br />been duly declared elected as members of the City <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana for the ensuing term <br />of four years, and having each severally qualified by <br />taking and subscribing to the oath of office, and <br />being personally present, met as the City Council. and <br />proceeded to organize and did organize the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha. Trustee Allen A. Mandy was <br />absent. The meeting wsa called to order by the Clerk. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Reed and <br />carried, Courtney Chandler was appointed Mayor Pro-Tem <br />during this meeting. <br /> <br />At this time, the City Clerk gave the oath of office <br /> <br />to the following elective officers: <br /> <br />John K. Colwell, City Attorney, <br />B.AoHershey, City Marshall, knowns s Chief of Police <br />M.L.Pearson, City Treasurer, <br />R.M.Crookshank, City Recorder known as City Judge. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Smith and <br />carried, the following bonds of elective City Officials <br /> <br />were accepted and ordered approved: <br /> <br />Boyd Alan Hershey, Chief of Police <br />M.L. Pearson, City Treasurer <br />R.M. Crookshank, City Judge <br />Erma Ke~ler, City Clerk <br /> <br />$5,000.00 <br />50,000.00 <br /> 5,000.00 <br />10,000.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Albert E.
