244 RESOLUTION NO. 680. A RESOLUTION OF THE. BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, ORDERING THE GRADE OF AND UPON A PORTION OF EAST FOURTH STREET, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF'SANTA gNA, CHANGED AND RE- ESTABLISHED,- DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION OF THIS RESOLUTION AND DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER FOR THAT PURPOSE. ~hereas, on the 13th day of September, 1920, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha passed its Resolution of Intention No. 666 to order the grade of and upon a portion of East Fouxth Street, a public street in the City of Santa And, changed and re-established, and which resolution stated the name of the public street and designated the portion thereof upon which it is proposed to change and re-establish the grads, and sets forth the change of grade proposed to be made$ and Wherea~, said Resolution of Intention No. 666 was there- after posted conspicuously for two days on the chanber door of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa And, and published by two insertions in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, A daily newspaper published and circulated in the city of Santa And, and designated by said Board of Trustees for that puxpose, which publication was had therein on September 15-16-17, 1920. Whereas, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa And thereafter caused to be conspicuously posted, and on the lyth day of September, 19ZO, there was conspicuously p~ ted along the portion of East Fourth Street designated in said Resolution of Intention No. 666, and of which it is proposed to change and re- establish the ~ade, less than 100 f t. in distance apart, amd 85 in all, notioas of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, each of said Notices were headed:- NOTICE OF CHANGE OF GRADE in letters more than one inch in length and in legible characters stated the fact of the passage of the said Resolution of Intention its date, the name of the public street, and designated the por- tion thereof the grade of which is proposed tobe changed, and referred to said Resolution of Intention No. 666, for further partiou/ars, and also said Street superintendent caused a notice similar in substance to be published, a/id the sue was published for six days, to-wit: on the l?-l~-20-21-~Z-Z3-Z4 days of Sept- ember, 1920 in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER a daily news- paper published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and de- sSgnated by t~e Boaxd of Tr~{stees for that purpose: and Nhereas, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed after the 1?th day of September, 19ZO, the date of the first publication of said notice of the passage of Resolution of Intention No. 666 and no protests have been filed; and Whereas, the Boaxd of Trustees of the City of Santa And elected to proceed under, and did proceed under "Change of Grade Act of 1909", and expressed such election in eai~ Reeolutl~ of
