Whereas, certain owners of property liable to be assessed for said work and improvement made written protests or objections in writing and de- livered the same to the Clerk not later thsn the hour set for hearing said objections, protesting against the proposed work and also agninst the extent of the district, and city of Santa ~na at of lntentlon No. 92V the Board of Trustees of the the time and place ~n Resolution set forth, and of which time and place notice was duly given, proceeded to hear and pass upon ali protests made, and duly adjourned and continued the further hearing thereof to the hour of V:30 o'clock p.m. of Tuesday, the 20th day of February, 1923, in the council chamber of the Board of Trustees in the City Hall of the city of Ssnta Ana; and Whereas, at the time and place to which the protests was adJourued and continued ~ hearing of said the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha pro- ceeded to further hear ~a~h and all of said protests or objections having been heard and duly considered, and the Board of Trustees find that the protests are not made by the owners of one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for the improvement: It is hereby resolved by the Board of Trustees Of the city of Santa Ana t~at each and all of the said protests and objections a~ainst the work or i?provement to be made and against the extent of the district to be assessed to pay the expenses there- of, be and the same a~re hereby overruled and denied.
