264 hereby declare and determine, and notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and to bear in- terest at rate of six ($%) per cent per annum,~will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall ma- ture nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeed- ing nine (9) months from their date. DESCRIPTION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT SECTION V. T~t the contemplated work and improve- ment hereinbefore mentioned is, in the opinion of said Board of Trustees, of more than local or ordinary public benefit and the expense of said work and improvement is made charge- able upon the district hereinafter described and s~ d Board of Trustees does hereby declare said district to be the dis- trict benefitted by said work and improvement, and to be. assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, which dis- trict is bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the pont of intersection of the cen- ter line of West Fifth Street with the West line of North Baker Street; thence Southerly along the West line of North Baker Street to the Southeast corner of Lot l, of Matthews' Addition as per map on file in Miscellaneous M~p Book 4, page 28, Records of Orange County, California; thence Wes- terly parallel to West Fourth Street to the Southeast corner cf Lot 1, BlOck "A", Goldsmith's Addition as per map recorded in Book 22, page 82, Miscellaneous Records of Lee Angeles County, California; thence Westerly parallel to the center line of West Fifth Street and in a straight line to an in- tersection with the West boundar~ line of the City of Santa Ana; thence Northeasterly along the said West Boundary.line to an intersection with the line parallel to and 1§5 feet Northerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of West Fifth Street; thence Easterly parallel to and 155 feet, measured at right angles, from the center line of West Fifth Street to an intersection with the West line of North Baker Street; thence Southerly along the West line of North Baker Street 155 feet to the point of beginning. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana hereby order that that part of the cost and expenses cf the repavement of the hereinbefore described portions of West Fifth Street, equal to and in the full sum of Thirty Thou- sand ($50,000.00) Dollars, but not exceeding the cost of said repavement, sh~ll be paid out of the Treasury of the City of Santa Asa from the fund therein created and exis- ting, designated "The West Fifth Street Improvement Bond Fund."
