the bonds, shall be for the interest accruing thereon from the 1Vth day of August, 1923. Bond No. 1 in the denomination of $1000.00 and Bondl No. 11 in the denomination of %505.45 shall constitute annual series No. 1 and be payable July 2nd, 1924, being the 2nd day of July next succeeding nine months after the date of the bond. Annually thereafter on the 2nd day of July two addi- tional bonds, one in the sum of $1000.00 and one in the sum of $505.40,each in successive numerical order, shall fall due and be paid, and the bonds pa~mble in each year shall consti- tute the annual series for the year in which they are to be paid. Fourth Ail of the bonds shall be sold at the hour of o'clock P.M. of Monday, the l?th day of September, 192S~ to the highest bidder therefor, but not less t~mn their par and accrued interest at the date of their delivery, and the pro- ceeds of the sale thereof shall be deposited in the treasury of the city of Santa Ana to the credit of West Chestnut and West M~rtle Street Improvement Bond Redemption fund, and from which there shall be paid to the Contractor, or his assigns, the balance due him upon the assessment and warrant for the work done and improvement made upon a portion of West Chest- nut Street and West Myrtle Street, including interest upon the principal amount at the rate of 6% per annum from the 1V~ day of August, t92~, and the surplus of such proceeds, if any,! shall be credited to said redemption fund for the pa~ent of such bonds. If no satisfactory bids are received, or the Board of Trustees determine that the bids received are not satis- factory as to price or responsibility of the Bidder, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject all bids re- ceived, if any, and readvertise the bonds for sale, or deliver said bbnds to the contractor, or his assigns, in satisfaction of the sum due him upon the assessment and warrant. Fifth The assessment, levy, and collection of taxes in and for the city of Santa Ana being made throug~h and by the County of Orange and the officers thereof, it is ordered that a copy hereof be filed in the office cf the Auditor of the County of Orange, California.
