832 <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br />pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, <br />and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the amendments to <br />said Acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section I. That the public interest and convenienc, <br />require, and it is the Intention of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construction <br />of the following described work and improvement in said city, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> In, on and along the roadway of West Fifth Street <br /> <br />in said city from curb line to curb line, between the West <br />line of North Baker Street and the ~est line of Nort.h Arte- <br />sia Street, and where any street or alley intersects or ter- <br />minates in the described portions of West Fifth Street, then <br />beyond the curb llne and across the sidewalk reservations to <br />the North and South property lines thereof. In, ou and along-~ <br />the roadway of West Fifth Street in said city, between the <br />West llne of North Artesla Street and the ¥~est city limits <br />line, a strip of said roadway twenty (20) feet wide, being <br />ten (10) feet ou each side of the center line of said ~est <br />Fifth Street, and construction of a 2' x 4' concrete cul- <br />vert across a portion of West Fifth Street, at the point <br />where shown on plans. <br /> <br /> The work and improvement is more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The removal of the present pavement from the <br /> surface of that portion of the above described roadway of <br /> West Fifth Street, between the West line of North Baker <br /> Street and the ~est line of North Artesla Street, and the <br /> grading and paving of said roadway with a seven (7) inbh <br /> Portland cement.concrSte pavement. <br /> <br /> (b) The removal ef the present pavement from the <br /> surface of that portion of the ~oadway of ~est Fifth Street <br /> described as a twenty-(20) foot strip, ten (lC) feet on each <br /> side of the center line thereof, lying between the ~est line <br /> of North Artesia Street and a line drawn across said ~est <br /> <br />Fifth Street parallel <br />ured at right angles) <br />Electric Rsilway~ and <br /> <br />to and two (~) feet Easterly (meas- <br />from the East rail of the Pacific <br />the grading and paving of said road-' <br /> <br />way with a seven (V) inch Portland'cement concrete pavement. <br /> <br /> (c) The removal of the present pavement from the <br />Surface of that protiou of the roadway of West Fifth Street, <br />described as a strip twenty (20) feet wide, being ten (lC) <br />feet on each side of the center llne of said street lylug be- <br />tween a line drawn across the said roadway of ~est Fifth <br />Street parallel to and two (2) feet Westerly (measured at <br />right angles) from the Zest tall of the Pacific Electric <br />Railway and the West city limits line, and the grading and <br /> <br /> <br />
