Resolution of Intention No. 1144, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement made on East Fourth ~treet in said city, which Resolution of Intention No. 1144 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Ana Da~ly Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Edna E. Herrick, principal clerk of the ~i~ters and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affid~vit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City ~f Santa Ana on the 8th day of December, 192~, and now on file ther~in~ .nd WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention No. 1~44, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (~00) feet in distance apart, and V in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, hea- ded NOTICE OF IMPROVE~NT, in manner, form and substance as provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a dis- trict, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the open streets and alleys within such district, not more than three hundred (~00) feet in distance apart on each street and alley, and did'post on each street at least ~ no- tices, and on all said streets V notices; and WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha commenced to cost the said notices on the 12th day of December, 192~, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 12th day of December, 192~, more tlmn ten days before the day set for hearing protests or objections to the pro- posed wor~ and improvement, ell as appears by the affidavit of W. G.
